Co-Working Center One of Three Headed to Booming West Plano | Real Estate | Dallas News

Another new shared-office center is about to open, this one in Plano.

NewGate Development said Tuesday that it’s opening a CityCentral co-working facility near Dallas North Tollway in West Plano.

The 36,000-square-foot office center is at 6010 W. Spring Creek Parkway, just south of Legacy business park.

The co-working center includes private offices, conference rooms, collaborative office areas and meeting rooms that can be rented by single workers or startup companies.

“The Plano economy is experiencing considerable growth, and the need for more cost effective, turnkey office space without a long-term commitment continues to increase with it,” CityCentral’s Karen Condi said in a statement. “In response, CityCentral blends affordable, fully furnished office space and co-working solutions with advanced technology, high-level service, professional support, and flexible agreement terms.”

The shared-office center, one of three co-working projects on the way in West Plano, will open next week.

New York-based coworking office pioneer WeWork has leased 31,000 square feet in the Legacy West Urban Village at the southwest corner of Dallas North Tollway and Legacy Drive.

Dallas-based Common Desk is renting 27,532 square feet in the Granite Park development at the southeast corner of the tollway and State Highway 121.

Several shared-office firms have rented large blocks of office space in Dallas’ Uptown and downtown business districts for even more new coworking facilities.
